CHELMONDISTON WEATHER

Chelmondiston Post Office can be found opposite Peter Hollingsworth
and is accessed via the Village Car Park.
It is run by Ms Lorane Tilbrook and Mrs Susie Patten, the official postmistress and is a centre for information.

Opening Hours: Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays 8.30am to 1.15pm, Wednesdays - 8.45am to 12.45pm
Closed on Saturdays

It supports the following banks: The Halifax, Lloyds TSB, Barclays, The Co op, Cahoot and Alliance & Leicester but NOT Santander Abbey.
Cash can be dispensed and cheques paid in.
Car Tax is issued at Shotley Gate Post Office or Holbrook Post Office.

It has a very good selection of greetings cards to suit all types and ages and a good array of stationery along with Bus Timetables and Buzabout Leaflets.

The main Post Box in the village is on Main Road, close by the Village Hall. There is another smaller Post Box at the bottom of Pin Mill Road. Last collection times are 17:00 (Monday-Friday) and 09:45 (Saturday) - no collection on Sunday. Later collection times are provided at the sorting office in Commercial Road, Ipswich 19:15 (Monday-Friday) and 13:45 (Saturday) - no collection on Sunday.
