Annual Parish Meeting
Every year the Parish Council facilitates The Annual Parish Meeting.
This meeting is for the parishioners from the village. It is an informal meeting which enables parishioners to talk about issues in the parish that they would like the parish council and other parishioners to know about.
The Chairman of the Parish Council chairs the meeting and delivers the council's annual report. Other Parish Councillors and the Parish Clerk also deliver reports.
The District Councillor and Suffolk County Councillor either deliver their annual report or send a copy to the parish council.
Groups from the village are also able to deliver their annual reports if they so wish.
Formal minutes of the meeting are produced and all reports are attached to the minutes. Those minutes are then signed at the next Annual Parish Meeting and are uploaded to our website and distributed to parishioners.
