We hold our Parish Council Meetings on the first Tuesday of the month and they are generally held in the Village Hall. Planning meetings are held separately. See Planning.

There is an Open Forum in each meeting during which parishioners can raise relevant subjects for discussion and consideration by the Council.

The Annual Chelmondiston Parish Meeting is usually held in May. This is the opportnity for all the local electors of the parish to get together and voice their opinions, on matters raised on the agenda. This is NOT a Parish Council meeting but the Chairperson of the Parish Council or the Vice-Chairperson presides over the meeting and local groups are invited to attend to report on their activities over the year.
