PARISH COUNCIL MEETINGS
We hold our Parish Council Meetings on the first Tuesday of the month and they are generally held in the Village Hall. The Planning Meetings are held separately to the Parish Council Meetings. From October 2018 the Planning Meetings will be held before each Parish Council Meeting.
There is an Open Forum in each meeting during which parishioners and members of the public can raise relevant subjects for discussion and consideration by the Council.
All the minutes from both the Parish Council Meetings and the Planning Meetings are able to view on the website.
The Annual Chelmondiston Village/Parish Meeting is usually held in May. This is the opportunity for all the local electors of the parish to get together and voice their opinions, on matters raised on the agenda. This is NOT a Parish Council meeting but the Chairperson of the Parish Council or the Vice-Chairperson presides over the meeting and local groups are invited to attend to report on their activities over the year.
An agenda is produced by the Parish Clerk for all the three different types of meetings. These agendas are uploaded on to the website and also placed on the two noticeboards in the parish. The agendas are prepared three days before the meetings.
Any archived minutes that you may wish to view please contact the Parish Clerk.
