Linden Homes have provided the following update to the Hill Farm Lane development:-

“Linden Homes has recently secured an option to promote the site at Hill Farm Lane, Chelmondiston. They would like to work with the local community and local authority to bring forward a development of between 50-70 dwellings of a mix of sizes and types; including affordable in this edge of settlement location. The option has only recently been secured, therefore, it is very much at an early stage, however, promotion through the local plan and neighbourhood plan processes will be the initial key tasks as well as preparation of background supporting information”.

Linden Homes offered some additional comments to support the outline plan:

  • POS in the diagram = Public Open Space
  • Access to the site is expected to be directly onto Main Road (not via Hill Farm Lane)
  • The mix of houses is yet to be determined, though is expected to include both 1 and 2 storey buildings, and some ‘Affordable’.
